Taking a Break

Since graduating from TBS last week, I've had several days off to get organized and packed to move back to Missouri. I've had fun this week making dinner for Aaron and being able to go where I want when I want and not worry about getting up at 0400 and being ready to perform.

I packed everything Monday and realized that was a bad idea since I have to pull out fresh clothes each day. Also, I tried on all my work clothes (all five pairs of pants, two skirts, and six tops) and found that none of my pants fit. I hit my goal weight for TBS which helped with carrying around 100+lbs packs, but since my cammies are so roomy I didn't realize my thighs had gained some baggage of their own.

I've spent the last few days doing my taxes. This usually involves me getting out all our tax documents and getting something to eat. Then I spend about 15 minutes looking at how much we money owe and trying to figure out where I must have made a mistake. I figured it out and it's called a new tax bracket. Finally, I will watch The Price is Right and reruns of Reba while eating again, browsing the internet, eating some more, and then finding something to clean. I'm actually working on my taxes right now.

Yup, I'm livin' the dream!

Graduation

I graduated from The Basic School last Wednesday. Our ceremony took place at the FBI Academy. There is no doubt TBS was the most difficult six months of my life!

I found out a few weeks ago that I am not going to my next school until July and will be on reserve status until then. I am excited to go home and start back to work at my civilian job. I can't wait to move on from this place. Only six more weeks Aaron!
